Crist Schwartz
With over 36 years of construction experience, Crist brings a keen eye for detail and design to every project. He takes pride in the teamwork and dedication required to bring homeowners’ dreams to life. Known for his honesty and integrity, he has built a strong reputation in the industry. In his free time, Crist enjoys spending time with his family and going on motorcycle trips.
CFO & Estimator
Justin Schwartz
Justin, the youngest of Crist’s sons, graduated from Kirkwood in 2021 with a Business Degree and now serves as the company’s CFO and Project Estimator. In addition to managing finances and estimates, he also works hands-on at job sites. Growing up in Kalona, Iowa, he learned the trade from his father at a young age. His favorite aspects of the job include setting trusses and working with numbers. Outside of work, Justin enjoys spending time with his family and fishing. His expertise in finance and industry experience make him a valuable asset to the company.
Design Draftsman
Cambridge Hathaway
Cambridge handles the design work for Schwartz Builders, bringing creativity and precision to every project. He holds a degree in Architectural Technology and has been designing homes for people since 2020. Hailing from the rural Wellman, Iowa area, Cambridge finds enjoyment in turning homeowners' dreams into reality. In his free time, Cambridge enjoys playing volleyball, exploring history and languages, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. His exceptional design skills make him an invaluable part of the Schwartz Builders team.
Crew Foreman
Blake Schwartz
Blake, one of Crist’s sons, grew up in Kalona, Iowa, gaining hands-on experience working alongside his dad on job sites. He enjoys the process of building new homes and appreciates the opportunity to work outdoors. In his free time, Blake loves spending time with his family, pursuing his passion for music, crafting custom furniture, and engaging in various outdoor activities. His keen eye for detail and dedication to seeing projects through make him a valuable member of the Schwartz Builders team.
